![]() ![]() That’s just the first treatment, then you have a facial. The description on the website is exactly what it’s like water is cascading over you at a perfect temperature from several shower heads, the dry brush, sea salts, and oils leaves your skin feeling very refreshed, the hot oil scalp treatment with a gentle massage is so relaxing. It is well worth it!!! I wasn’t familiar with a wet room treatment, so I had no idea what to expect. I decided to treat myself with the Monsoon Package. Don’t get me wrong, they were fantastic, but more options would be nice. The two we tried (primo and signature grill) only had one vegetarian entree for dinner. My only suggestion would be for the restaurants to offer more vegetarian entrees at the restaurants. The bed was very comfortable (as they always are at JW properties) and the bathroom was huge! The decor is definitely not modern, but it did not strike me as incredibly outdated like some other reviews state. The room was very clean, and even though we selected the most basic level king room, it still had a beautiful view of the saguaro covered hill in front of the property. I wish I remembered all of the staff member’s names so I could compliment them. While our room was indeed not yet ready, the front desk agent (Heaven) gave us a pool key, a discount coupon for the restaurants, and free parking! It was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at a hotel or resort. We were able to get on an earlier flight from Phoenix, so we arrived prior to our expected time fully anticipating to not be able to check in until later. This is a fantastic property in Tucson! Every staff member we interacted with was incredible, the food is fantastic, and the property is beautiful. Staff is not as friendly as one would expect for a thousand dollars a night. Wondering if I need to ask for a room change- the 200’s are super far from everything! I am so hungry and dinner isn’t for an hour- bring your own food!! I kind of just want to bail And go home, rather than feel really uncomfortable. I just left instead of standing there awkwardly. I asked if they were starting…? And no one welcomed me in. So I did the 2 mile loop and saw that a stretching class was starting at 4:30, I arrived at 4:27 and she turned me away. ![]() Went back to the cafe for a big refreshing green juice, it was the size of an airplane cup. I was starving and waited in line at the cafe, but my soul journey was starting, so I left the line and gave up on eating- got totally turned around looking for the right building (this place is a maze!) showed up crying. It’s super far from everything and looks into someone’s camper. ![]() I got antsy sitting at the pool, while teenagers fiddle with the treadmill, headed back to the club house- where a room became all of a sudden available. Still lost and starving! I arrived at 11am today- sat by the pool alone (my bags were behind the desk and someone watched me impatiently as I desperately pawed through them looking for a swimsuit) finally I gave up and went swimming in my underwear. ![]()
